The Manufacturing Toolkit (MTK) is a set of tools for analyzing 3D CAD models to retrieve manufacturing process-specific information, identify and collect features, reveal possible design issues in the model.
MTK uses sophisticated mathematical algorithms to recognize CNC machining, sheet metal, additive manufacturing, and more. Currently, we provide API for the following languages: C++, C#, Java and Python.
Unfolding algorithm to reverse engineer original metal sheets. Recognize bends' radii and lengths. Analyze thickness and build 2D projections.
Recognize machining features: milled surfaces, holes and countersinks (depths & diameters), chamfers, fillets, turning axes, bores, etc.
Enable manufacturability analysis: wall thicknesses, sharp edges.
Comprehensive documentation and numerous examples will help you get started with the Manufacturing Toolkit quickly.
Manufacturing Toolkit supports additive manufacturing, CNC milling, turning, drilling, sheet metal, injection molding and other processes.
Manufacturing Toolkit allows to ensure the manufacturability of a part and advise on possible design improvements based on the analysis of hole diameters and depths, wall thicknesses, bend radii and more.
We build multiple algorithms — from volume computations to machining feature recognition — to build custom apps for instant manufacturing quotations.
