Bend overview
A bend is a V-shape or U-shape feature obtained by bending (aka press braking, flanging, die bending, folding and edging) a metal sheet along a straight axis.
Bend parameters
A bend has the following basic parameters:
- Radius.
- Angle.
- Width.
- Length.
How MTK recognizes bends
MTK automatically recognizes bends in B-Rep CAD models and extracts their manufacturing-relevant parameters. The recognized feature data can be used for automated quoting, DFM analysis, and manufacturing workflows.
