Circular milled face overview
Circular milled face is a face produced by a circular milling operations that are used to enlarge die and mold cavities, cylinder bores and machine airframe pockets. The tool attached to the rotating spindle follows a circular trajectory with a machining feed rate, while gradually moving forward in the direction of global axis with a step over feed.
How MTK recognizes circular milled faces
MTK automatically recognizes circular milled faces in B-Rep CAD models and extracts their manufacturing-relevant parameters. The recognized feature data can be used for automated quoting, DFM analysis, and manufacturing workflows.
Documentation and API reference
Detailed API reference for circular milled face feature recognition is provided in the MTK documentation, including feature classes and integration details.
