Rolled hem bends
Rolled hem bend overview
A rolled hem bend is a bend in which the bent portion of the sheet metal is tucked back into itself. This creates smooth round edges all around for holding the part from the hemmed edges.
How MTK recognizes rolled hem bends
MTK automatically recognizes rolled hem bends in B-Rep CAD models and extracts their manufacturing-relevant parameters. The recognized feature data can be used for automated quoting, DFM analysis, and manufacturing workflows.
Documentation and API reference
Detailed API reference for rolled hem bend feature recognition is provided in the MTK documentation, including feature classes and integration details.
